Crisis Response

Since Galveston Baptist Association churches a geographically located in a prominent hurricane ally, the Crisis Response arm of the Association is vital to the county and the churches. GBA has both a tool trailer and shower trailer that has been deployed both locally and intra-state. Crisis Response is networked with 4B Disaster Response and other State and National disaster response teams. Locally, churches send volunteers to support relief efforts.

This ministry function is expanding to create qualified volunteers that can be deployed as well as aid in local disasters. Our churches are active in assembling resources and sending them into disaster areas, as well as opening their facilities for staging resources and sheltering displaced people.
